How to plan your day with ADHD using 3 things
A long to-do list can feel like a wall. You look at twenty tasks, cannot pick one, and the morning is gone. The Daily Top 3 method keeps the page small on purpose: you choose three things that matter today, write the first tiny step for each one, and decide which single thing you would do if the day falls apart. Everything else is a bonus.
This free ADHD Daily Plan Generator turns that method into a printable page. You type, the page fills in, and you print it in US Letter or A4. The layout is black and one light gray, so it prints clearly on any home printer and uses very little ink.
How to use the generator
1. Pick three. Type up to three things for today. Two is fine. One is fine. Empty boxes print as lines you can fill in by hand.
2. Shrink the start. For each thing, add a first tiny step that takes under two minutes, like “open the email draft” or “put the book on the desk”. A small start is easier to begin than a big task.
3. Choose your one. Fill in “If I only do one”. On a messy day, that line tells you what counts as a win.
4. Add your day. Write one fixed thing for the morning, afternoon and evening, like meds, a meeting or walking the dog. The rest of each block stays blank for handwriting.
5. Print. Choose Letter or A4, then press Print. In the print window, set the scale to 100% and turn headers and footers off. You can also pick “Save as PDF” to keep the page on your phone or tablet.
At the end of the day, anything you did not finish goes into the Carry forward strip at the bottom. No guilt, it just moves to tomorrow.
FAQ
Is this ADHD daily planner really free?
Yes. Use it as often as you like, with no sign-up and no email. It makes one page at a time and does not save anything, so refreshing the page clears the boxes.
Does it work on a phone or iPad?
Yes. Fill it in, tap Print, then print or choose Save as PDF. Paper sizes are US Letter and A4.
Can I print a whole week with my routines on it?
Not in the free version. The full ADHD Daily Plan Maker saves your routines once and prints 1, 7, 14 or 30 Daily Top 3 pages in one go, plus a brain dump sorter, weekly plan, dopamine menu, habit tracker and low-energy day page. It is a one-time $6 download that works offline.
Is this medical advice?
No. It is an ADHD-friendly paper planning page. It is a simple way to organize a day, nothing more.
